TOYOTA CITY, Japan (June 21, 2019) – The South African Junior Golf Team of Christo Lamprecht Jnr, Martin Vorster, Casey Jarvis and Samual Simpson has won the prestigious Junior World Cup of Golf for the second time. South Africa became the first team in the 27-year history of the team event to break the 40-under barrier and wound up a full 11 shots clear of runner-up Japan and 12 ahead of Spain.
Congratulations to Rowan du Preez from Ekurhuleni on winning the Southern Cape Mid-Amateur Championships held at Fancourt Golf Estate with rounds 72 and 68.
Solly Rautenbach claimed the 2019 Mossel Bay Senior Open with a level par 72 gross. In second place was Bertus Smit, 73 gross, from Pinnacle Point GolfnEstate.
